4th of July
4th of July is always a big event for my family. We spend the late afternoon through late evening at a friends property out in Aurora. Over 150 people showed up for the BBQ and then over 200 attended the actual firework show. Jared, my stepdad Ken, stepbrother Chris and family friend Brad are all licensed pyrotechnicians. They spend so much time and money preparing for the big event. The firework show definitely never disappoints. Last year I was the "donation girl" and we collected $250.00 for the 2009 firework show. This year I collected $950.00 for the 2010 firework show. We invited more friends to join the event this year and I believe they had a blast.....can't wait till next years show!
